The team here at GMT is just wrapping up a picture perfect weekend at the Camden Classic Cup in Camden Maine. GMT customers were well represented with many boats reaching the podium in their respective classes.
Classic 1: Lion’s Whelp - A schooner with GMT carbon faux bois masts and booms placed 2nd.
Classic 2: Palawan - A Custom yawl with a GMT carbon Pocket Boom placed 1st.
Modern Classic: Hawk - A restored classic 1-tonner with a GMT carbon bow sprit placed 1st.
PHRF Race: Mischief - A Lyman Morse built Seguin 40 with a GMT carbon mast, boom, and rudder, placed 1st.
Spirit of Tradition: 3 of the 8 boats in class had GMT carbon rigs.
We would like to send out a huge congratulations to the team at Lyman Morse for organizing a hugely successful event. I can say without a doubt that we will be returning for 2022!
